Update

Winter 2022 Update

We are excited to announce a major update for RecHelper that brings a host of new features and enhancements, as well as numerous bug fixes and performance improvements. In addition, we have made some changes to the Control Panel to organize the user experience and make it even easier to manage your training programs.

New Concepts

  • Modules are now called Services: In this update, we have renamed "modules" to "services" to better reflect the expanded capabilities and versatility of these features. These services can be used in multiple contexts throughout the app and offer a range of functionality to help you manage your personal training programs.

  • Service Profiles: We have introduced the concept of service profiles, which are an extension of the base profile. Every member in your Organizations has a Base Profile, which contains general information about the member such as their contact details and history. Service profiles, on the other hand, are specific to a particular service and allow users to view information about a member in the context of that service. For example, only Trainers and Clients have a service profile in the Personal Training Service (called a PT Profile), which shows details relevant to their personal training sessions, such as the frequency and duration of their sessions, and the goals and progress of their training program.

New Services

Bulletin Board

We consolidated both Announcements and Public Posts to the Bulletin Board service.

Members

We are excited to introduce the new Members service, which provides a comprehensive tool for managing all the staff and patrons within your organization. With the Members service, you can easily view and edit member profiles, as well as send and manage invitations to new members.

You can use the Members service to create and manage groups, and set permissions to control which members have access to which services and features.

Settings

We have moved the Organization's settings to the Control Panel in the new Settings service. The Settings service provides a central location for all tenant-wide settings, making it easier to find and manage your organization's preferences.

Permissions

We have added and updated many permissions throughout the app to give you more control over who can access which features and services.

  • Added Onboard PT Join Request Permission
  • Added Close PT Join Request Permission
  • Fixed permissions for Edit PT Join Request
  • Required Edit PT Event permission to update participants, locations, and packages on event.
  • Added the required permission to the notification that appears when a user tries to perform an action that they are not authorized to do.

Changes and Fixes

  • Moved Group Settings from the Personal Training Module to the Members module.
  • Moved CP Home links to the navigation bar.
  • Added ability to add tables to Public Page Content.
  • Updated Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  • PT Profile has an updated layout that moves action buttons to the Toolbar.
  • Other various bug fixes and security enhancements.

We hope you enjoy all the new features, enhancements, and bug fixes included in this update. As always, your feedback is important to us and we welcome your thoughts and suggestions on how we can continue to improve RecHelper. Thank you for using our personal training program management platform and we look forward to bringing you more updates in the future.
